“A light unto this nation” as described by His.Royal.Highness The Prince of Wales, the international religious leader, philosopher, award-winning author, and respected moral voice, Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks (Z'L) passed away just over a month ago prior to Hannukah. He will be deeply missed.

Rabbi Torgmant has been Rabbi of the Jewish Community of Monaco - Edmond J. Safra Synagogue - since 2010.
He is part of the Conference of European Rabbis (CER).
He received his Rabbinic ordination from Machon Ariel, Jerusalem (2003-2010), and gained a BA in Hebrew and Civilization from the Inalco Institute, Paris, and a MA in Hebrew and Jewish
Thought from the University of Strasbourg.
Rabbi Torgmant is married to Deborah and together they have 4 children : Ychaï, Moshé, Adassa and Hillel.

For Chanuka, David has chosen to tackle the theme of “Chanuka or the lights of hope“, which should resonate with every one of us, particularly during these extraordinary times of the COVID pandemic
